 Mondoyakujin

Train station near to where we live

Amazing meal prepared for us by our host!! Such lovely couple :)
Japanese meals are always so nicely presented, impressed

 Arima Onsen

Our host brought us to this onsen town. The weather is not cold enough for onsen so i didn't go to one but i did soak my feet in this public foot bath. Feels great! Oh, i remember having some onsen bread pau steam with alcohol it was so yums, one of the best thing i had in Japan.

Cosplaying

 Tetsujin street
We are impressed by this 59 feet tall tetsujin robot. It was the first time our host seeing it too. It was built in memory of an earthquake happened around this area some time ago if not mistaken.

Cute vending machine hehe
Moominnn, this moomin seems famous in Japan. Haven't watch one of the shows yet.

 Kitano

We went to visit a local church on Sunday, the choir was really good. Although we can't understand most word the pastor is speaking but it's nice to just sit through the service.

The owner of the dog told us that that the dog doesn't like human. The owner purposely drag it out so it passes us and quickly walk back into the house haha
famous dessert
Strawberry coated with white chocolate. Quite yummy
We bought one to share, it was smooth cream with honey in the bottom. Something special to try.( 390 yen) It was very tiny though

Sannomiya & Harbour front

This place is a busy town with shopping streets and a harbor nearby famous for the night lights.

ikea

We visited ikea! The food was almost the same, 10 meatballs (599 yen) but they have Japanese curry rice (249 yen). It was ok. Add on sausage (120 yen) & one cup coffee (120 yen), fries (190 yen) & a slice of cake (359 yen)

Then we went to another area of Kobe with another host friend. So she brought us around town.

Came to this store that serve sashimi. I don't really eat sashimi so i went out my own to look for some ramen store to eat some ramen hehe

  Mount Rokko

Took the tram up in the evening and it was freezing. Strong wind, luckily we brought gloves.

 kura sushi

This is100 yen sushi train store. There were many customers so we waited for about 20 min for a table. The food were fresh from what i heard from them since i don't eat raw stuff. See the container up there with the eggs in it? Every five plates of sushi you eat you dispose it in the hole on the side of table then something will pop up on the screen and you'll see if you're lucky to get one of the egg.
tadaaa. I got a mini kura sushi! Perfect for souvenir :P I also got a kitty magnet, lucky day.

I was trying to look for something not raw to order. But even the salmon is half raw at least. It was fine though hehe
